We personally haven’t used either of those yet but I’m sure we will need to cross this bridge in the guides in the not too distant future, would be interesting to see what people have had experiences with

Hey Steve,
I guess you got your answers ;).

For anyone wondering what’s the difference between Simple Google Shopping and Data Feed Manager, here is the thing:

  • Simple Google Shopping: helps you creating feeds for Google Shopping (one default xml template included)
  • Data Feed Manager: includes all the features of Simple Google Shopping but allows you to create more kinds of data feeds (csv, txt, xml) and with special features like extra-header for any shopping engine, market place or search engine like BingShopping, Shopping.com, Shopzilla, Amazon,… (19 default templates included).
  • Hope this help!
    See ya,

Thanks Laurie for all of your great support in the forums, like Matt has said in another post, it’s great to see someone bringing value rather than just spamming services! It is a much better representation of your company.

I never really got on with the wyomind extension but that’s not meant as a negative comment. I think the reason was two fold. One is that it appears a very comprehensive extension and two I is that I really didn’t have the time to devote to it. Now my ebay shop and Web site is established I will probably revisit it again.

One further thing to add is that there support is very very good. Obviously I encountered problems when I first used it and the support emails were answered promptly. If I remember they all had support chat. All we need now is a discounted price for understandinge members. Hope your having a productive time in the states and happy Christmas if I’m not in the forums before Christmas
