Updating Magmi

How can I update Magmi to the latest version (0.7.21 at the time of this post) while keeping your installer/theme intact? I tried using “Update Magmi Release” under the Configuration tab, but it screwed up the whole theme (see screenshot). I want to easily secure Magmi using your login system, but I also need Magmi to work with Magento CE 1.9. There isn’t an option for 1.9 in the 0.7.18 release of Magmi which is bundled with your installer/theme.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey Todd,

Hmmm this is one for Matt as he looked after the whole UE Magmi creation. I’ll ask him to take a look at this for you.

Hi Todd,

As far as I’m aware the UE version of Magmi works with 1.9.X.

We don’t have an update for this as the development resources we have available are being used elsewhere at the moment (as a heads up it’ll cost us personally around $150 to get it updated) and we’ll get to it when we can.

In the meantime the UE version will work with the 1.9 version and you can always use the developers version if you wish to, just make sure you take notice of Mistake #1 covered in this article if you do
