I checked the php settings on my server the ones i think are applicable here are:
If the max execution time is 800 seconds, why is it stopping at 118 seconds? Or am i looking at the wrong setting.
Does anyone know what the issue might be, and how to resolve it?
Thanks for any help
I’ve had that before in the past and it is a timeout issue.
The first place to check is actually check on the values that Magmi is actually using. The reason for this check as you may have one value set at the top level directories, but the sub directories, ie the one where Magmi is stored & running from may be different.
So…. open up magmi.php and put this after a <?php tag.
Then confirm that the timeout settings are what you believe them to be (it’ll be in the long list there somewhere!).
If these settings are correct, then my gut instinct would be to suggest that you contact SimpleServers to see if they have any limitations on script execution times.
Does that help you?
