Hi All
I am getting the following error when trying to import a new configrable product

plugin;Magmi_ConfigurableItemProcessor;warning:Configurable Item processor v1.3.7 – No configurable attributes found for configurable sku: 190002 cannot link simples.

So what did i do…

1. Manually created a configurable product with 4 associated products on Magento.
2. Exported the configurable product and associated product using system/data profiles
3. Edited the CSV file and change the SKU from 190001 to 190002

On a side note I tried putting the configurable product at the top of the file and also at the bottom of the file.

Any ideas
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

Can you attach a copy of the CSV file you’re using in a reply for me to take a look?

Note: You’ll need to pop it in a zip file first and you may want to blank out any sensitive product info in there.

Hey Steve,

I’m no expert with Magmi by a long way. I have forwarded it on to Matt to take a look.

Looking at the error it says

No configurable attributes found for configurable sku: 190002

Could this be that the variation header or value isn’t what Magento is expecting so either a character is incorrect or the wording is slightly out which could be causing it not to recognise the attribute?

Thats just my two cents trying to decypher the error :)

I’m sure Matt will shed more light :)

I have forwarded to you Matt.

Can I just preempt matt’s response

Matt will probably say that there are no configurable items, but can i just reiterate that the csv file is what magento produced, all i change was the SKU

Cheers
Steve

Howdy Steve,

Yea you’re right because my first question is going to be, for the attribute set “Default” does that have any configurable attributes in it?

And if it is and because I can’t see any columns with the header starting with “conf_” is the configurable attribute in the list and also we’re missing the column called “configurable_attributes” which is a required column for the configurable attributes plugin for Magmi.

See here http://wiki.magmi.org/index.ph…..SV_Columns

Best thing here is to suggest seeing the example configurable product files that came with the UE Magmi in your var/import folder as these have the right layout ready & waiting for you.

Noting that a direct export from Magento won’t directly import into Magento using Magmi for configurable products.

I hope that makes sense, basically you’re missing required columns :)

Matt
That said shouldn’t those fields have been there if I exported from magento using data profiles. I exported all fields

When I add a new product attribute set default product type configurable product I get a 2nd screen up pack quantity for the select configurable attributes so I am guessing I have attributes set for the default set

I now seem to be getting the following error, which is refering to the configurable product
error 1:SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1048 Column ‘attribute_id’ cannot be null – INSERT INTO `mage_catalog_product_super_attribute` (`product_id`,`attribute_id`,`position`) VALUES (?,?,?)
error 2:SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1048 Column ‘attribute_id’ cannot be null – ERROR ON RECORD #5
warning:Skus imported KO:1/5
