Myself & Matt are happy to announce that the first part of the Homepage section of the Designing a Responsive Magento website for $99 course is now ready for you.
In this first part of the homepage section you’ll learn how to how to customise the header on your Magento website, how to add sliders to your homepage and also what else we will be covering in the final part of the homepage section.
So over these four tutorials released today we show you:
- What is coming up in the course as a whole
- Then we get started with the static blocks in the header, what they are and how to disable/edit them as desired
- How to style the header by adding colours or your own images to the header area
- How to add a slider to your home page and the three different types you have available to you
We’ve done all the hard work for you.
We know that banners can be a little tricky to get the sizes right, so we have also provided a downloadable file of psd images for you to use as a refernces for your own banners for your sliders.
