Are You Ready for Amazon’s Early Black Friday?

Black Friday gets exciting and earlier each year with Amazon.

This year, the most awaited shopping event falls on 23rd November but it starts a week earlier on Amazon thanks to them moving past the week-long bonanza and into a 10-day sale.

As a third-party seller on the retail giant’s online marketplace, are you ready to engage with potential customers and rake in sales when Amazon’s Black Friday Deals Store opens at midnight on 16th November?

Yes, you read that right — Amazon will start offering Black Friday deals on the above-mentioned date until 11:59 p.m. on 25th November.

Throughout this sale period, the eCommerce giant will offer Deals of the Day and Lightning Deals, which increase your chances of getting your product in front of customers and driving up your profits.   

So being ready when eager shoppers start pouring in will no doubt give you a leg up on the competition.

Amazon also sets up a pop-up shop in Shoreditch

Alongside their early online Black Friday deals, Amazon are opening their Home of Black Friday pop-up shop again, this time in Shoreditch, London, to entice shoppers to try their merchandise from 22nd to 25th November.

Like the first one in Soho Square, the new pop-up shop doesn’t have a checkout counter but allows shoppers to purchase a product they like by scanning its QR code with the Amazon app.   

Doug Gurr, country manager at Amazon UK, said:

“We know many of our customers are starting to think about Christmas presents, parties and decorations at this time of year and we’re excited to offer great deals when shoppers need them most. We hope customers will enjoy the new AR view feature in the app, which uses augmented reality technology to allow shoppers to see selected products in their own home before they decide to buy.”

Amazon accounted for 55% of all Black Friday online transactions last year. Aside from the products under the company’s private label, toys, beauty products and consumer electronics were among the top-selling items.
