Here’s good news for third-party sellers on Amazon’s B2B marketplace. The eCommerce company have just given your customers more reason to keep buying from you with the launch of Business Prime in the UK.
The new service makes purchasing office supplies, industrial equipment, and other business-related goods easier for business customers, plus members can take advantage of Prime delivery including unlimited one-day, same-day, and nominated-day delivery.
Existing Amazon Business customers have to only acquire one membership for their account and enjoy all the perks that come with it.
In Amazon’s official press release, Dave Brittain, head of Amazon Business in the UK, said:
“Business Prime enables customers to get the most out of the great selection, pricing and purchasing experience on Amazon Business. We continue to listen to feedback from our business customers and are excited to introduce these new benefits which take the most business-relevant parts of Prime membership and add additional features to make life easier for organisations of all shapes and sizes. Our goal is to help businesses drive even more transparency into their procurement process, while ultimately lowering their total cost of purchasing.”
Visualize spend data and create procurement policy
Allowing customers to visualize their spend data and manage their budget is as important to Amazon as helping sellers on their B2B marketplace increase their revenue.
By signing up for an Amazon Business Prime membership, business customers will not only enjoy one-day delivery service, but also be able to analyse their spending data, create rules regarding procurement, and get exclusive deals on the Amazon Business marketplace.
Business Prime offers four types of membership plans that suit small, medium, and large businesses. They are as follows:
- BASIC is for up to 3 users and has an annual fee of £80
- SMALL is for a max of 10 users and costs £250 a year
- MEDIUM is for a max of 100 users and priced at £600 annually
- UNLIMITED is for unlimited users and costs £4,500 a year
